 Nathan John Feuerstein was born on March 30 in 1991. His initials NF (stylized IF) are an American rapper, singer , and songwriter. He has released two EPs, I'm Free (2012),[3 and an EP with a self-titled title in 2014, with Capitol CMG. His first major-label album, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. His second studio record, Therapy Session (April 22, 2016), peaked at number 12 for the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned many awards, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF reached mainstream popularity with Perception in 2017. The album charted on the charts in the United States at number one and was certified platinum. "Let You Fall" was ranked at number 12 on the. Billboard Hot 100 was a world-wide top-10 hit. Similar commercial success was achieved by The Search (2019). Feuerstein declared that in his early years, rap was an escape for him. He would record songs using a karaoke device, recording both instrumentals and his raps using a single microphone. Feuerstein released his own debut album Moments on November 29, 2010, under his real name. He dropped "Alone" as his first single on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith, songwriter and producer of the song was featured. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and became fascinated by his music. Feuerstein released his extended version of I'm Free on May 2nd 2012 and was produced by Profitt. The playlist included nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist teased that NF would be released however Feuerstein quit the label because of disagreements. NF production was postponed. NF was accompanied by a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams on the label’s compilation album, Move Vol 1 On November 4 in 2013, he debuted the single "Beautiful Addiction".
